Short Story

Zero: Part III

This is the third part in a series, so if you have not done so already, you might want to read Part I and Part II before continuing.

Master? Master?

Thank wickedness he’s still in one piece. Oh, but he’s missing his jaw. He’ll probably need that. I’ll sniff it out. Ah! Found it! Here you go, Master.

Master’s sad again. All that hard work and he still isn’t happy.

Now he is happy! Yippee! It worked! Whatever we did to lift Master’s spirits worked!

Oh, but what about Sandy Claws? Shouldn’t we give him his hat back, Master?

All right! We’re off to get Sandy Claws! I’ll help!

The Boogeyman has Sally and Sandy Claws. I don’t like the Boogeyman because he is mean, but it’s OK because Master will save them.

See? I told you he would save them. Wait…

“Master! Look out! Behind you! Behind you again!”

Phew! That was close, but now it’s OK because the Boogeyman is gone and Jack and Sally are safe and Sandy Claws says he still has enough time to save Christmas. Whatever that is.

Ooh! What’s this? It’s white and light and fluffy. Is it cold? I don’t feel cold like I used to, but this seems cold to me. Ha! This is fun! Isn’t this fun, Master?

Master?

Now where did he get off to?

Oh, he’s with Sally. Are they finally going to mate? It’s about time. Any old ghost can see they were made for each other.

The end.
