It took me a while to warm up to this book, but I was very happy with the ending.

“It would be so stupid for her to die if this is something that can be fixed.”

This book is fun, fast-paced, full of great characters, and humor. I never wanted to put it down!

“That was a long time ago, Granny. Those things don’t happen anymore.”

Hardy’s poetic prose narrated by Alan Rickman’s magnificent voice is a match made in heaven.

Would it be better to suffer in silence or go down fighting?

This is a book about an unlikely marriage, but it’s not about two people living miserably ever after.

Is an offer for ice cream really as innocent as it seems?

I didn’t really like this book, although the choice to write it from the POV of the boy was interesting and effective.
