The Facemaker
This book is so not my thing, but I learned so much, and loved listening to the narrator.
Sister-in-Law: Part XXII
I knew that, if I could just be convincing for this one conversation, the rest of our relationship would be a cakewalk.
Gideon the Ninth
I happened to pick this book up when i was on vacation and I’m so glad I did! It’s so well written and so much fun to read!
Sister-in-Law: Part XXI
“He wants a girlfriend who’s nothing like them, and I’m not sure what to make of that. Maybe they’re not as close as I thought.”
Better the Blood
I absolutely loved this book about colonialism, generational trauma, and the concessions we make to get along in society.
Sister-in-Law: Part XX

Victory City
I normally love Rushdie’s writing, but I have to admit to being somewhat underwhelmed by this one. It was fine.
Sister-in-Law: Part XIX
