Not A Virgin Part I

He turned the key in the ignition as he watched her approach in his rearview mirror.

He put the van in gear as she ran past him.

By the time she reached the corner, he had pulled in front of her and knocked on the divider between the front of the van and the back.

The back doors flew open, his boys reached out and grabbed her.

Daniel felt the doors thump shut and hit the gas pedal.

He smiled as he heard her screaming through the divider.

He thought he could make out the words, “Not again” and he smiled wider.

So this one wasn’t a virgin.

She gave one of his boys a bloody nose and broke another’s collar bone, but it didn’t help her. They got her to the warehouse, just the same, and once the others had left, Daniel took his time. This was his favorite part. The anticipation.

He left her lying in on the floor for several minutes. Sometimes he would walk up to her, watching her twitch at the sound of his footsteps. Then he would walk away. He walked a circle around her, slow and even, watching as she tried to turn her head to face each footstep.

Finally he cut her gag, but left her bound and blindfolded.

He could see her waiting for the blindfold to come off. She knew the routine.

But he had decided to change the routine.

Because she was special.

So he left her mouth free as he continued walking about the room.

When she heard his footsteps moving away from her, she spoke. “Who are you?”

Daniel didn’t answer.

“You won’t get away with this.”

Daniel suppressed a giggle. They all said that.

Of course it hadn’t escaped his notice that she had skipped one of her lines: “What do you want?”

She already knew what he wanted.

Next she would say, “They’ll come looking for me.”

But she didn’t.

Instead, she started squirming. Looking for a way out of her bindings.

His amusement vanished in an instant. Replaced by anger.

He was on her so quickly and silently, she gasped when he grabbed her hair and pulled her head back. “You’re not playing by the rules,” he whispered, his voice rasping in her ear.

“Rules!” She fought harder against the twine. “You want to talk about rules? You grab women off the street, kidnap them, tie them up and what? Torture them? Kill them? And you want to talk about rules? You’re the one who’s not playing by the rules.”

He let go of her hair, shoving her head away from him as he did. Her temple made a satisfying crack against the cement floor.

Daniel stomped to the edge of the room. Once he reached the wall he stood, facing it, fists clenched, shoulders hunched as he focused on breathing in and out. He had never lost control like that. He shouldn’t let her affect him like this.

He heard her struggling behind him and he got an idea.

To be continued …
