I liked the concept for this book, but the writing was terrible. I won’t be reading any more of this series.

I loved this book every bit as much as I loved Laurenston’s Call of Crows series and I can’t wait to read the sequels.

What would you do to escape your life? Would you make a deal with the devil? Would you live 300 years just to spite him?

Do ghosts get a vote when it comes to the interior decorating of their houses, even though they aren’t technically living there anymore?

What do you do when your ball goes over the fence and into the yard of your local crazy witch?

Everyone has those friends who mean well, but still manage to make us feel small, even if they don’t mean to make us feel that way.

Overall I was satisfied with the end of this series, even if I think the author took some liberties to get her characters out of tight spots.

How to explain Netflix, much less the concept of an app, to someone who lived and died before the internet was invented?
