The Fifth Season

I’M FINALLY ON THE N. K. JEMISIN BANDWAGON!

This was a fun read, but way too long and in serious need of some editing. It’s the last book of the series for me.

This book was fun, although I don’t think I loved it as much as my friends did.

This is a super-fun YA fantasy in which the power of reading is transformed into something that is literally magical.

This sequel is every bit as much fun as its predecessor and I was so glad to get to hang out with these characters again!

This book was like a bag of potato chips I wanted to devour by myself in one sitting!

This sequel turns the fairy tale “happily ever after” on its head and deals with romantic relationships in a much more realistic way.

Despite jumping into the Discworld series at book 2, I didn’t feel like I missed much and it was so much fun!

I needed a break from Hamilton and this YA fantasy with a teenaged spy was just the thing!

The women in this book are awesome and badass and human and irreverent and unapologetic and I love them so much!
