At first, I was a little wary of the message of this book, but in the end it won me over and I had a lot of fun listening to it.

I only listened to this audiobook because my book club elected to discuss it, but I ended up really enjoying it. I especially recomment the audio version.
Three Women
The fact that all three of the women in this book constantly subordinate their desires to those of the men in their lives hit too close to home for me.
Where the Crawdads Sing
This little girl is far more resourceful than most adults, much less children her age, and her story of repeated abandonment is heartbreaking.
