I continue to be impressed by how well Meyer manages to work elements of the original fairy tales into a sci-fi setting and blend them all together.

I was going to write about all four of these books in one post, but there’s just too much to cover.

This series is so much fun that I’m sad it’s over, but super excited that Murderbot will be getting its own full-length novel soon!

I’M FINALLY ON THE N. K. JEMISIN BANDWAGON!

This is probably one of the best books I read in 2017 and I don’t think I’ll ever look at a bee the same way again.

This book completely changed my perception of time travel.

Apparently the publishing of this sci-fi thriller was as fast paced as the action.

R.I.P. Carrie Fisher, a.k.a. Princess/General Leia Organa.

Scalzi has a reputation for writing popular fiction, but I don’t think that gives him enough credit for the nuances in his writing.

I needed this fast-paced YA sci-fi to get me out of a reading slump and it proved to be just the thing.
