Slayer

This book holds true to the universe of the original TV show and references various episodes without requiring the reader to have seen the show.

I had never heard of this novella by J. Sheridan Le Fanu, which apparently predates, and almost undoubtedly inspired Dracula.

This book was as much fun as its prequels, even if I didn’t agree with all the choices Ritter made.

I don’t know how my mom found out about this YA audiobook before I did, but I’m so glad she recommended it!

I had a few, minor quibbles with this sequel, but for the most part, it was just as much fun as the prequel.

This book was well written, and yet I still have a hard time identifying why I didn’t like it.

Ness does an excellent job of portraying mental illness in this YA novel.

For a book about a plague, it got creepy in a psychological way that I had not been expecting.

I didn’t love the story, but I am very glad I listened to the audiobook, because it’s a treasure all by itself.

As much as I enjoyed “The Diviners” I never would have had time for the sequel if it hadn’t been for the audiobook.
