It took me a while to get into this book, but once I got past the first short story, I was all in.
Category: Paranormal
My Plain Jane
This book manages to combine a retelling of Jane Eyre with an alternate history of Charlotte Brontë’s life with a ghost story, and it’s awesome!
Badger to the Bone
This book is just as much fun as the prequels, if not more so, since it focuses on Max “Kill It Again” MacKilligan.
In a Badger Way
What do you do when your client’s best friend decides you’re her boyfriend and won’t listen when you try to tell her otherwise?
Cackle
This book took way too long to get witchy, but I still ended up enjoying everything it did have to say about relationships and self love.
Magick
I liked the concept for this book, but the writing was terrible. I won’t be reading any more of this series.
Too Easy
He took his phone out of his pocket and pretended to scroll through something while he waited for his prey to approach.
The Ocean at the End of the Lane
I’m not sure why I enjoyed this book more than other works by Neil Gaiman, but it might have something to do with the fact that I think this one has just the right amount of fantasy and a tight plot.
One Last Stop
I loved each of the main characters, I loved all the side characters. I loved this book so much, and while I wanted to find out how it turned out, I didn’t want it to end!
Hot and Badgered
I loved this book every bit as much as I loved Laurenston’s Call of Crows series and I can’t wait to read the sequels.
