You can definitely tell that this is a debut novel, but the plot and characters won me over so completely that I couldn’t put it down.
Category: Mystery/Thriller
The Dispatcher
These are really just your typical mystery/thriller books with a grizzled P.I. who gets roped into working with the police.
One Last Stop
I loved each of the main characters, I loved all the side characters. I loved this book so much, and while I wanted to find out how it turned out, I didn’t want it to end!
Fugitive Telemetry
This book is a pretty typical murder mystery with your cyborg detective trying to keep stupid humans safe with a murderer on the loose.
The Wife in the Attic
Rather than marrying Mr. Rochester, what if Jane had hooked up with Bertha? And what if they were both Jewish?
The Woman in White
I’m not sure why this book is always classified as horror since there’s nothing paranormal about it. I can see it being classified as a mystery, although I felt it was much longer than it needed to be.
The Little Stranger
I read this book because it’s a classic, but I have to say that, as a ghost story, I felt it was disappointing.
See What I Have Done
Call me bloodthirsty, but I was hoping for more gore in a book about a couple of axe murders.
Behind a Mask
If Little Women or Agnes Grey is too sweet for you, I recommend Behind a Mask because it is anything but sweet!
Network Effect
Murderbot is back! And I could not be more excited to hang out with this rogue Security Unit while it saves humans from peril.
