This is my favorite book by Barbara Kingsolver by far, but that might just be because I listened to this one rather than reading it.

I think this book is supposed to be revealing something about human nature by writing about children, but the author clearly knows nothing about children.
The Parable of the Talents
I think I enjoyed this book, but it involves everything from gun violence to sexual assault to slavery to child endangerment and kidnapping, so consider yourself warned.
Think and Grow Rich
This book was not at all what I expected, and while I disagreed with parts of it, ultimately I appreciated the actionable tips it provided.
Battlefield Earth
This book was ridiculous and badly written, but for some reason I just couldn’t put it down.
The Last Unicorn
I’m glad I finally read this classic, but it just didn’t live up to the hype. I would have enjoyed it more if I had read it as a kid.
